Rings are made of BRASS.
Brass is very sturdy and can hold up to everyday wear. Brass will naturally darken over time. I include a jewelry polishing pad with each brass ring; use this to clean your ring and remove any tarnish.
These items are hand stamped, so letters may not line up perfectly, which only adds to the one-of-a-kind quality of your piece!

**OXIDATION**
Brass and copper are two of the many metals (including gold, rose gold, sterling silver, etc.) that have the potential to leave a faint greenish mark on your skin. This normally occurs over time as the metal oxidizes. Whether or not your brass or copper jewelry will cause a reaction with your skin is dependent on your own personal body chemistry, sweat, and body oils. This is a universal property of these metals and not something I can predict or prevent. It is easy to remove any tarnish from your ring using the jewelry polishing pad I send with your order. Soap and water will remove any residue from your wrist.

I do not recommend wearing your jewelry in the shower or exposing it to prolonged moisture, lotions, perfumes, etc. Doing so will cause fading of the darkened letters. Due to the non-porous nature of metal, the ink will lighten over time, and this is more noticeable on aluminum rings since this metal does not naturally tarnish (or darken).
